Job summary

Apleona Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at London Wall, EC2Y. The role oversees statutory and non-statutory tasks, supervises a technical team, and reports weekly to the Contract Manager.

Flexibility for site rota and a strong focus on safety and service delivery are required. We welcome applicants with City and Guilds Level 2/3 (Mechanical or Electrical), IPaf/PASMA where applicable, and a track record in building services maintenance

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 2/3 qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) is required.
• Experience with building services systems and health & safety compliance.
• Experience leading a technical team and deputising for a Contract Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and work with client and on-site team.
• Supervise maintenance activities to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Report to Contract Manager on a weekly basis.
• Act as Client’s Representative and liaise with customers and subcontractors.
• Participate in site and call-out rota as required.

  Engineering Supervisor

  Location – London Wall, EC2Y

  Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

  We are currently seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage day to day operations and work closely with our client and on-site team. In this role you will have full responsibility of all Statutory, Non-Statutory, Remedial and reactive tasks and report back to Contract Manager on a weekly basis. You will Supervise and perform maintenance activities, ensuring maximum efficiency of the workforce & minimum services downtime; identifying and reporting any electrical/engineering issues or faults which will have a detrimental effect on the building environment.

  As supervisor, you will act as our Client’s Representative in the management of maintenance and specialist contractors whilst liaising with customers, study & analysing their requirements, advice upon available options & provide ‘consultancy’ services support. As part of this role you will be expected to partake in the site and call out rota as required.

  Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • City and Guilds Level 2/3 qualification - Mechanical or Electrical
  • IPAF (Site Dependant) & PASMA (desirable)
  • Experience of building services systems, maintenance management, contractual procedures, and health & safety compliance.
  • Experience of leading a technical team and deputising for the Contract Manager.
  • Experience of planning strategic delivery.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders at different levels throughout the business.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Health and Safety policy/legislation and all direct and indirect.
  • statutory/mandatory standards.
  • Experience of development, implementation, and review of service improvement objectives.
