Job summary

Apleona Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage day to day operations on site at London Wall. You will supervise maintenance activities, liaise with the client and on-site team, and ensure compliance with statutory and health & safety standards.

This role requires leading a technical team, planning strategic delivery, and deputising for the Contract Manager. A flexible approach to the site rota and a commitment to service excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 2/3 qualification in mechanical or electrical.
• IPAF (Site Dependant) & PASMA (desirable).
• Experience with building services systems and maintenance management.
• Experience leading a technical team and deputising for Contract Manager.
• Experience in planning strategic delivery.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding Health and Safety policy/legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and work closely with client and on-site team.
• Supervise and perform maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Report back to Contract Manager on a weekly basis.
• Liaise with clients and contractors as Client’s Representative for maintenance management.
• Participate in site and call-out rota as required.

  Engineering Supervisor

  Location – London Wall, EC2Y

  Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

  We are currently seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage day to day operations and work closely with our client and on-site team. In this role you will have full responsibility of all Statutory, Non-Statutory, Remedial and reactive tasks and report back to Contract Manager on a weekly basis. You will Supervise and perform maintenance activities, ensuring maximum efficiency of the workforce & minimum services downtime; identifying and reporting any electrical/engineering issues or faults which will have a detrimental effect on the building environment.

  As supervisor, you will act as our Client’s Representative in the management of maintenance and specialist contractors whilst liaising with customers, study & analysing their requirements, advice upon available options & provide ‘consultancy’ services support. As part of this role you will be expected to partake in the site and call out rota as required.

  Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • City and Guilds Level 2/3 qualification - Mechanical or Electrical
  • IPAF (Site Dependant) & PASMA (desirable)
  • Experience of building services systems, maintenance management, contractual procedures, and health & safety compliance.
  • Experience of leading a technical team and deputising for the Contract Manager.
  • Experience of planning strategic delivery.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders at different levels throughout the business.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Health and Safety policy/legislation and all direct and indirect.

  • Experience of development, implementation, and review of service improvement objectives.
