Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading FM provider on a prestigious commercial site in Euston. You will lead a small on-site engineering team and serve as the main client contact for day-to-day technical matters.

The role focuses on overseeing PPM, reactive maintenance, and compliance, with a hands-on approach when required and a strong emphasis on safe operations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience as Electrical Supervisor or Lead Engineer in commercial FM.
• Strong electrical background with knowledge of building services and compliance.
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage day-to-day operations.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with ability to identify extra works.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Euston, London – Up to £55,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a prestigious commercial site in Euston.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong M&E professional to lead a small on-site engineering team while acting as the primary client contact for all day-to-day technical and operational matters.The successful candidate will oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, specialist subcontractor management, and site compliance, ensuring all engineering activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual obligations.This is primarily an off-the-tools supervisory role, focused on managing the engineering team, subcontractors, and client relationships; however, the successful candidate will be expected to provide hands-on technical support and assist during emergency situations or where operational requirements demand.The role also involves managing compliance documentation, coordinating subcontractor visits, reporting and following up on remedial works, and identifying opportunities for additional works to support both client requirements and service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising a small on-site team of four engineers, ensuring high standards of service delivery and technical performance.
• Acting as the primary client-facing contact for all day-to-day electrical, technical, and operational matters.
• Managing the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring all electrical works are completed within contractual timeframes.
• Coordinating and managing specialist subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site procedures and statutory requirements.
• Monitoring site compliance and ensuring all electrical compliance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Managing subcontractor attendance, reviewing reports, and ensuring all remedial works are tracked through to completion.
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site's electrical infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
• Identifying, scoping, and developing additional works opportunities in line with client requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the client, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in an Electrical Supervisor, Lead Engineer, or similar role within a commercial Facilities Management environment.
• A strong electrical background with excellent knowledge of commercial building services and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience managing engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Experience monitoring compliance documentation and ensuring maintenance activities are completed in line with contractual requirements.
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to manage day-to-day technical and operational matters.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to identify and develop additional works opportunities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
