Job summary

RecruitMe is recruiting for a Grantham-based Stores role supporting engineering and maintenance. You will manage engineering spares, stock accuracy, and site stock checks to ensure parts are available when needed.

The ideal candidate has experience in stores, warehouse or inventory control, with attention to detail, strong communication, and a hands-on approach. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, engineering stores, warehouse or stock-control environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Organised with a hands-on approach and good Excel/Office skills.
• Full UK driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and receipt incoming deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
• Support engineering with spare parts for maintenance and outages.
• Raise and manage purchase orders.
• Chase overdue deliveries and liaise with suppliers.
• Maintain PPE and clothing stock.
• Support stock counts, audits and discrepancy investigations.
• Maintain records of loaned tools and equipment.
• Assist with Bills of Materials and service kits.
• Keep the stores area safe, tidy and organised.
