Cranswick Country Foods Eye, Suffolk is seeking an Engineering Stores Operative to join our established Stores team. You will be responsible for the stores department within Engineering and play a key role in receiving, checking, storing and issuing parts to production.

This full-time, on-site role runs 05:30–17:30 on a rotating pattern; you will maintain accurate stock records, liaise with purchasing and production, and ensure a clean, safe stores area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic IT skills for stock control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Responsabilités

• Receive, check, and book in deliveries against purchase orders
• Store materials safely and in an organised manner
• Pick and issue parts to the production team as required
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts
• Liaise with purchasing and production teams regarding stock levels
• Prepare goods for dispatch where required
• Ensure the stores area is clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards
