Excellis Recruitment Ltd in Meopham, Kent is seeking a meticulous Stores Coordinator/Storeman to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure engineers have the right parts when needed. The role offers a permanent position with flexible hours and a stable, long-term setup in a growing engineering company.

Responsibilities include stock control, deliveries, and preparing equipment, with strong emphasis on accuracy and independent work in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Storeman or Stores Coordinator.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy, especially Excel and stock systems.
• Experience in engineering, electrical or construction environments is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Organising and maintaining the day-to-day running of the warehouse and stores.
• Managing goods in, checking deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Picking, organising and preparing parts, materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
• Using computer systems and spreadsheets to manage stock and documentation.
• Liaising with engineers and project teams to ensure materials are available when required.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised while managing daily workloads independently.
