Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in London is seeking an Engineering Shift Manager to lead a team of engineers and oversee all mechanical and electrical systems on site.

The role includes managing BMS, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems, and ensuring PPM work and KPIs are delivered safely. You will review subcontractor RAMS, sanction isolates when needed, and coordinate with the Senior Operations Manager to maintain reliable infrastructure while complying with safety standards and the company’s DV

Qualifications

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation required.
• C&G 2391 certification required.
• Experience in maintenance.
• SSoW permitting experience.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Manage the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Oversee subcontractor permits, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed safely.

ROLE: Engineering Shift Manager
HOURS: 42 hours per week
LOCATION: London
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off

As the Engineering Control Room Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all daily tasks within your remit, leading a team of engineers, and overseeing the business infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Manage the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Oversee the permittance of subcontractors, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs. [
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and suitable manner.

Required Qualifications:

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• C&G 2391.
• Experience in maintenance.
• SSoW permitting experience.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS.

Desirable:

• HV Authorised.
• CDM experience.
