Job summary

Humdinger is seeking an Engineering Scheduler & Stock Controller at our Bromborough site to bring structure and efficiency to maintenance planning and stock control. You’ll work with Engineering, Operations, Technical and Planning teams to ensure reliable uptime.

The role involves planning maintenance, managing stores, raising POs, and reporting on spend while supporting compliance activities and documentation. A strong CMMS user and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance scheduling, planning and stores control.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook and business systems.
• Experience using CMMS such as Shire or equivalent.
• Effective communication with multiple stakeholders across a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule planned maintenance, project and ad hoc engineering work.
• Maintain engineering plans and update schedules based on progress.
• Coordinate compliance inspections and maintenance activities.
• Manage engineering stores and maintain stock levels.
• Raise purchase orders and support engineering inventory control.
• Monitor maintenance spend and provide reporting.
• Develop technical documentation and engineering records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve equipment reliability.
