Job summary

Reed is expanding its Engineering & Manufacturing specialism and seeking an ambitious recruiter to own the engineering recruitment desk across the North of the UK. This is an opportunity to join a profitable, high-performing team with established clients, strong leadership, and clear progression opportunities.

We offer a competitive salary of £27,500–£35,000 DOE plus uncapped commission. Initially office-based in Sheffield for 3 months, then hybrid (1–2 days WFH).

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering/manufacturing recruitment.
• Track record of winning new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Building and growing your own Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment desk.
• Developing strong client relationships while actively identifying and winning new business opportunities.
• Sourcing and placing high-quality engineering talent across a thriving regional market.
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development through to placement and aftercare.
