Orion Electrotech is seeking a Technical Proposals & Documentation Engineer to join our growing engineering business in the UK. You will translate technical information into professional proposals, reports, and business documents, working closely with sales, engineering, and operations.

The role focuses on producing quotations, cost estimates, and compliance documentation, while maintaining RAMS, SOPs, and ERP-driven records to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Strong technical writing and documentation abilities.
• Experience producing quotations, estimates, or project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical proposals, quotations, and cost estimates for bespoke projects.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Create and maintain RAMS and SOPs.
• Manage project documentation and keep records in ERP and business systems.
• Support standardisation and continuous improvement of internal docs.
• Act as the link between sales, design, manufacturing and installation teams.
• Support quality and compliance through accurate documentation.
