Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a lead engineering professional to drive major projects across a global manufacturing network, delivering product transfers, NPI, cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

You will manage cross-functional teams, establish governance, capacity planning and meet regulatory standards, while transforming manufacturing processes and sharing engineering knowledge across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing environments.
• Strong governance, planning and execution capabilities.
• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of engineering projects across a global manufacturing network.
• Drive product transfer, NPI, rationalisation and cost optimisation programmes.
• Establish robust project governance, planning and execution processes.
• Manage engineering resources, project priorities and capacity planning.
• Work cross-functionally to align business, operational and engineering objectives.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet required quality, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Develop engineering capability and encourage knowledge sharing across the organisation.
• Support strategic manufacturing programmes that enable growth and improve operational performance

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience managing engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capability.
• Experience delivering product transfer, NPI or manufacturing transformation projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Stage Gate, Agile or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering governance and quality systems.
• Experience within regulated manufacturing environments would be highly beneficial.
• An engineering qualification (HND, Degree or equivalent experience).
