Job summary

The Adecco Group in Ulverston is seeking an experienced Engineering/Manufacturing Project Manager to lead projects from inception to completion. The role is on-site in Ulverston with a transition to a hybrid model after initial setup, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Initial 6-month contract with potential extension up to 2 years.

Start date January 2027 (earlier possible). The ideal candidate will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in engineering/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies, tools, and risk management.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and SAP is desirable.
• PM qualification or degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project teams and delegate tasks for seamless delivery.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
