Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a leading FMCG manufacturing site near Kiveton. You will lead engineering and capital projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires working closely with engineering, production, operations, maintenance, quality and external contractors to drive value, minimise disruption to production and deliver

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or relevant project management experience.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects.

Job Role of the Engineering Project Manager

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to work for a large, well-established FMCG manufacturing company based near Kiveton.

The Engineering Project Manager will benefit from working for an excellent company that is committed to investing in its manufacturing site, engineering function and people. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for managing engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The role will involve working closely with engineering, production, operations, maintenance, quality and external contractors to deliver projects across the manufacturing site. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, coordinating resources, managing budgets and ensuring projects meet the required technical, quality, safety and operational standards.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Project Manager

• Proven experience managing engineering projects within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing and production environments..
• Experience delivering projects within a live manufacturing environment while minimising disruption to production.

Requirements for the Engineering Project Manager

• Engineering qualification or relevant engineering/project management experience.
• Proven experience working as an Engineering Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing capital expenditure and engineering budgets.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers and external engineering companies.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineering Project Manager

• Experience working within the FMCG, food, beverage or packaging manufacturing sector.
• Experience managing large-scale CAPEX projects.
• Experience with automation, process improvement, production machinery or manufacturing systems..
