Job summary

Vanderlande in London (Heathrow) is seeking a Project Leader Engineering to drive engineering projects from planning to delivery. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Project Manager Engineering and is permanent. It requires a strong communicator with a engineering background and proven project leadership capabilities in material handling or similar complex

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with relevant specialisation (Mechanical/Electrical/Controls).
• Experience managing complex engineering projects for demanding customers.
• Proficient MS Office and formal project management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Managing the planning of engineering projects and owning the project plan.
• Technical leading of internal and external teams to successful project execution.
• Controlling the budget of engineering projects and reporting on risks and opportunities.
• Managing the Technical Solution and delivering system components with the required quality for customers.
• Executing health and safety analyses and ensuring implementation in the design.
• Continuously improving project management processes and sharing best practices.
