Job summary

DCV Technologies in City of London is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex engineering projects from bid through to completion, coordinating engineering, operations, procurement, quality and commercial teams.

You will lead cross-functional groups, manage plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure projects meet timelines, cost targets and customer requirements, with heavy focus on governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within an engineering environment.
• Experience delivering complex engineering or defence-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
• Software development project management experience is advantageous.
• APM qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from conception through delivery and closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and forecasts.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining programme governance.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide regular progress reporting.
• Support bid preparation, project mobilisation and programme delivery.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation, commissioning and final delivery.
