Job summary

Vax, part of Techtronic Industries (TTI), is seeking a Project Leader – Engineering Global Floorcare to lead cross‑functional teams and own end‑to‑end product delivery across cost, schedule and performance objectives.

You will drive planning, manage moderate to highly complex design projects, collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Suppliers, and ensure timely decisions and risk mitigation; travel 10-15%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years engineering experience in related field.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Proven success in mass-produced product design.
• Experience managing moderately complex NPD projects.
• Strong engineering aptitude, including materials and manufacturing knowledge.
• Solid understanding of part costing and supplier interactions.
• Excellent problem identification and resolution skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, agile culture with changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership over moderate to highly complex design projects.
• Directs engineering teams and reviews work across design disciplines.
• Sets goals, develops schedules, and documents project meetings.
• Manages project milestones, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinates cross-functional planning with Marketing, Operations and Suppliers.
• Frames technical tradeoffs and communicates with international teams.
• Maintains focus on cost, performance and schedule.
• Drives NPD process from conception to product launch.
