Job summary

Vax, part of the global TTI Group, is rebuilding its product development team in Worcestershire. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will take ideas from a blank sheet through prototype and into production, collaborating with industrial design, mechanical, electronics and NPD teams.

You will generate original floor care and home cleaning concepts, build and test prototypes, and feed learnings into the next iteration, while ensuring smooth handover to production and engaging suppliers for future

Qualifications

• A degree (BEng or MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering is required.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Design Engineer, Senior Product Design Engineer or Advanced Development.
• Strong CAD and engineering fundamentals; CREO preferred; other 3D packages accepted.

Responsibilities

• Take ideas from a blank sheet through prototype and into production.
• Build and test prototypes and iterate based on learnings.
• Produce robust CAD designs, CREO preferred, with strong 3D capability.
• Support handover into NPD so concepts reach production.
• Engage suppliers on future technology, not just current parts.
