Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking an Engineering Project Lead in Surrey with hybrid working. You will own high-value, client-facing projects and lead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, data, software and instrumentation domains to deliver innovative technical solutions.

The role requires a technical degree and proven experience delivering complex projects, with strong commercial and leadership skills. You will influence scope, budgets and delivery while maintaining governance and client

Qualifications

• A technical degree in engineering, data science or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering complex, client-facing technical projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams with line management.
• Strong technical judgement to bring together diverse disciplines into a coherent solution.
• Solid project, commercial and financial management skills, including forecasting and negotiation.
• Clear communication skills with clients, technical specialists and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from planning through delivery within scope, budget, quality and timescale.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and external partners with clear priorities.
• Line manage a cross-functional team covering engineering, data, software and hardware.
• Translate digital, data and engineering capabilities into practical client outcomes.
• Establish project governance and lead reviews, reporting and issue resolution.
• Plan resources to support delivery and develop robust scopes and delivery plans.
• Identify opportunities for repeatable products and develop client relationships.
