Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking an Engineering Project Co-ordinator for its Brackley site to support and coordinate engineering projects, manage documentation and budgeting, and liaise with stakeholders.

The role is office-based with some factory-based requirements, core hours Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, and may require flexibility around hours to meet project timelines. Ideal candidates will have strong numerical planning skills and an engineering mindset.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail with numbers and planning.
• A technical mind with an interest in equipment and engineering.
• Good interpersonal communication skills with colleagues of all levels.
• Competency with IT software.
• The ability to self motivate and prioritise workloads.
• Experience with CAD or engineering drawings would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Tracking project budgets and forecasts against actual spend.
• Raising and receipting project orders.
• Assisting Project Managers in project planning and tracking alongside maintaining Gantt charts and communications with stakeholders.
• Attending project meetings, providing administrative support including collating and distributing actions.
• Gathering data for scoping and planning of projects and capital submissions.
• Assisting the project team in the control and management of contractors.
• Keeping track of project tasks and their potential impact on safety, food safety, environmental, production and other projects.
