Job summary

Valeo Foods UK’s Norwich site is seeking an Engineering Planner to keep the engineering department running smoothly. You’ll orchestrate planned maintenance, contractor works and daily priorities to ensure the right work happens at the right time.

The ideal candidate is a capable planner who can coordinate across teams, manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records, with an engineering background being a bonus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering background is a bonus but not essential.
• Excellent planner who can organise activity and priorities.
• Strong planning and organisational skills required.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the site’s planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Plan and coordinate third-party contractors and engineering works.
• Manage the day-to-day engineering plan and ensure planned work is delivered.
• Coordinate engineering activities with production to minimise disruption.
• Support engineering compliance and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure planned works are followed through.
• Stay ahead of maintenance and contractor visits.
