Engineering Project Coordinator (8-Month Contract)

Job summary

Escape, a global engineering company based in Elgin, is seeking a Project Coordinator on a temporary 8-month contract to support a specific project. You will handle PO creation/amendments, run SAP reports, and maintain project documentation, ensuring deadlines are met.

You will work in a collaborative team, using MS Office and SharePoint, and contribute to audit-ready records, minutes, and action trackers for project reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience, ideally project coordination.
• Previous experience of working in an engineering, manufacturing, technical &/or projects environment would be an advantage
• Comfortable working in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident IT skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM/ERP systems, Sharepoint would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Process requests to create, amend and maintain Purchase Orders.
• Liaise with the relevant team for any purchase order queries or requests not in the administrator access
• Run SAP reports as requested by Project Engineers and to verify Internal Order transactions
• Deal with queries received in the shared email address for the Admin team or by direct email
• Monitor and resolve any blocked files
• Process of goods received not invoiced
• Update weekly safety statistics in preparation for Team Meeting
• Monitoring of compliance hub tasks
• Maintaining shared files and updating procedures
• Ensuring Project Engineers update reports and submit documentation by deadline
• Attend project meetings and recording minutes / update action trackers
• Schedule meetings and Zoom calls on behalf of Project Engineers
• Support with completing project reports and updating databases.
• Gather information for presentations and updates
• Project Document Control in line with standards and audit compliance
• Manage Teams and Sharepoint folder access
