Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a postholder to deliver a portfolio of major engineering projects. You will act as GSTT client, linking all parties and ensuring effective programme management from inception to completion.

The role involves leading internal and external teams, managing budgets, and ensuring safety, time and quality targets across RIBA stages. NHS values and governance are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Manages engineering and backlog maintenance projects across RIBA stages.
• Leads project delivery teams with internal and external professionals.
• Ensures governance, safety, time, cost and quality targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality project management of engineering and backlog maintenance projects.
• Leads and manages a project delivery team comprising internal and external professionals.
• Delivers projects on time and within budget per governance statements.
• Leads multi-disciplinary external team or main contractor ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
• Provides high-level engineering and technical advisory service to GSTT stakeholders.
• Contributes to and coordinates business cases (SOC, OBC, FBC).
• Proactively considers Health and Safety in line with statutory requirements.
