Smurfit Westrock in the UK is seeking an Engineering Planning & Stores Controller to join our Markham Vale site. You will manage engineering spares, forecast material needs, and schedule activity to keep plant operations efficient.

The role covers inventory control, procurement support, and data maintenance in SAP/ERP systems, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery. A proactive approach and collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/SCM systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: manage parts, tools and maintenance consumables to prevent shortages and obsolescence.
• Planning & scheduling: create schedules and align inventory with engineering/production timelines.
• Auditing & record keeping: conduct stock counts and reconcile with digital logs; investigate variances in SAP.
• Procurement support: raise purchase requisitions and monitor order statuses.
