Job summary

Greencore, a leading UK producer of convenience food, is seeking a maintenance engineer to lead planned maintenance at the Crosby site. You will maximise equipment availability, drive CMMS processes, and work with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams to deliver reliable production.

You will schedule, manage contractors, review daily KPIs with the Engineering Management team, and ensure safety compliance. A competitive package supports Greencore's people-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in an engineering environment.
• FMCG knowledge and experience in fast-paced seasonal settings.
• Experience deploying and managing engineering contractors.
• Attention to detail with strong prioritisation.
• Analytical thinking with an assertive character.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Energetic with a 'One Team' ethos.

Responsibilities

• Control planned departmental activities to meet maintenance standards and safety.
• Support CMMS adoption across the facility.
• Plan and convert work requests into achievable maintenance plans.
• Schedule and manage contractor activities.
• Develop maintenance schedules to maximise equipment availability.
• Chair daily meetings and review KPIs with Engineering Management.
• Maintain daily maintenance records.
• Ensure safe site conditions and compliance with safety protocols.
