Job summary

RWE Generation UK invites you to join our Outage Planning and Delivery Team for an engineering placement across gas-fired assets. You will support the Project Manager with planning, preparation, delivery and close-out of outage projects at one generating site.

The role offers exposure to operations, maintenance and engineering teams, visits to regional offices, and may require extended hours. Ideal candidates are studying BEng/MEng Mechanical Engineering and have strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in the energy industry and the role’s focus on outages and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Undertake project preparation planning.
• Coordinate specified activities.
• Support site establishment.
• Coordinate resources mobilising to site.
• Establish Health, Safety, Environment, and Wellbeing documentation.
• Support Project Risk, Change & Continuous Improvement Management processes.
• Be a contributor in Project meetings.
