Job summary

RWE Generation UK offers a 13-month engineering placement within our Gas Engineering and Outage group. Based at Pembroke, Staythorpe, Didcot or Little Barford, you will provide engineering support to ensure safe, efficient station operations with maximum commercial flexibility.

You will perform data analysis to diagnose issues for long- and short-term projects, support asset integrity initiatives, assist in outage work packages, and gain hands-on training alongside professional development

Qualifications

• Ideally pursuing a BEng or MEng Engineering or Science degree at undergraduate level.
• Degree should include an industrial placement year to meet the role requirements.
• Willingness to travel around the UK and potentially Europe, with overnight stays; expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Provide key engineering support to ensure fleet operation is safe, efficient and commercially flexible.
• Undertake data analysis to diagnose problems for long- and short-term projects.
• Support development of asset integrity processes and deliver plant improvement projects and investigations.
• Assist in delivering work packages in large station outages.
• Build expertise through hands-on experience and professional development courses.
