Job summary

Engineering & NPD Manager – Scientific Instrumentation – Hampshire, permanent onsite role. Salary circa £60k plus 10% bonus. The position leads NPD across electronics, firmware, software and mechanics and manages a small team to deliver projects to spec.

Based in Hampshire, you will support production transfer and roadmap definition while assisting customers and service teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in scientific equipment or related fields and a proven project delivery record, with

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in engineering development with scientific equipment and related systems.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and meeting objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage NPD projects across electronics, firmware, software and mechanics.
• Lead a small team with budgets, timelines and resources; produce specs and docs.
• Assist transferring new products to production.
• Contribute to the NPD roadmap and product specs.
• Support existing products with service, testing and fault analysis.
• Assist customers, distributors and engineering on tech matters.
