Automation Experts Ltd in Cheshire is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to develop PLC, HMI, motion control and safety software for bespoke packaging machinery. You will take ownership from design through testing, commissioning and customer training, with hands-on fault-finding and on-site support.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software and electrical teams, explore new technologies, and contribute to R&D activities while supporting installations in the UK and overseas.

Qualifikationen

• Strong PLC software development experience for machine control.
• Experience with multi-axis servo motion control.
• HMI software development and operator interfaces.
• Knowledge of safety systems and ISO/EN machinery standards.
• Project delivery and customer interaction experience.

• Develop PLC, HMI, motion control and safety software.
• Create control system software for bespoke packaging machinery projects.
• Take ownership from initial design through coding, testing, commissioning and customer training.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and engineering teams.
• Work closely with mechanical design, service and external partners to achieve project objectives.
• Investigate and develop new technologies.
• Contribute to R&D activities and evaluate new equipment and control technologies.
• Fault-finding and upgrading existing machinery.
• Support machine installations and commissioning activities in the UK and overseas.
