Marks & Spencer plc is recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams responsible for Oracle HCM Cloud platforms and on-premise integrations. You will shape platform strategy, deliver scalable solutions and work with architects, product managers and SaaS vendors to modernise the HR technology landscape.

The role emphasises people leadership, delivery discipline and driving business impact through enterprise technology, including AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud design, configuration, implementation and support in large organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams with a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Own the technical roadmap across Recruitment, Talent, Learn, Helpdesk and Core HR platforms.
• Prioritise work with Product, Architecture and Engineering leadership using agile delivery practices.
• Drive SaaS innovation, quarterly releases and AI opportunities to enhance colleague experiences.
• Ensure operational excellence, platform reliability and strong DevOps practices.
