Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited Bedford is seeking an Engineering Leader to own the site''s engineering function, not just keep it running.

You will lead a team of 20 engineers, shape maintenance strategy, drive reliability and Lean/CI with clear KPIs, and manage CAPEX projects from plan to handover. This role reports to the Operations Director and offers autonomy within an international group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering or maintenance function in manufacturing (FMCG a plus).
• Proven results in reliability, preventive maintenance (PPM) and CMMS-led maintenance.
• Experience delivering CAPEX projects and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 20 engineers, building accountability and a proactive safety culture.
• Build a strong planned and preventive maintenance strategy that cuts unplanned downtime.
• Drive reliability, availability and Lean / CI using clear KPIs and data.
• Deliver CAPEX and engineering projects from plan to handover.
• Own the engineering budget, stores and compliance.
