Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Launch & Sandboxes team in Livingston, UK. You’ll oversee development of cloud execution environments and job submission services, guiding architecture decisions around Kubernetes, container isolation, and billing infra.

Lead a team to ship reliably, balance delivery with technical health, and grow engineers into leaders. You’ll work closely with product management and ensure a customer-focused, AI-forward culture across the squad.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience before management.
• Track record growing engineers across levels.
• Experience balancing product delivery with technical health.
• Strong communication with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Fluency in Go, Python, and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years engineering management experience shipping infrastructure.
• Experience with distributed systems in production.
• Founding or early-stage background is a plus.
• Familiarity with HPC or scientific computing environments is valued.
• Experience with billing/meters/usage-based pricing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead Launch & Sandboxes engineering team end-to-end.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize work.
• Drive architecture discussions on container orchestration and auth.
• Ensure reliability and manage tech debt across systems.
• Grow engineers into autonomous leaders and decision-makers.
