Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager for an FMCG/food manufacturing site. You will lead a skilled engineering function, oversee planned and reactive maintenance and drive site performance improvements.

This site-based role is commutable from Kettering and surrounding towns. The package includes £60,000–£68,000, car allowance, annual salary review, up to 12% pension, 25 days holiday and excellent benefits.

Site Based, commutable from: Kettering, Northampton, Corby, Wellingborough, Market Harborough, Rushden, Thrapston, Burton Latimer and surrounding areas

Are you an Engineering Manager from an FMCG or food manufacturing background looking to join a market-leading organisation where you will lead a skilled engineering function and play a key role in improving site performance?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer during an exciting period of investment and growth. You will have the autonomy to develop your team, improve engineering standards and drive long-term improvements across a fast-paced production facility.

You will take full responsibility for the site engineering function, leading a team of Lead Engineers and Multi-skilled Engineers. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, asset reliability, engineering KPIs and continuous improvement projects.

The role would suit an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong manufacturing background who has previously led multi-skilled engineering teams and delivered improvements across maintenance, reliability and operational performance.

The Role:

• Lead, manage and develop the site engineering team
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, improving reliability and OEE
• Ensure statutory compliance and safe systems of work
• Drive continuous improvement and support capital projects

The Person:

• Engineering management experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG Environment
• Proven experience leading multi-skilled engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, reliability and asset care
