Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking an Engineering Manager for Electrical Infrastructure in Derby, to lead as the Infrastructure Design Authority and deliver large-scale electrical systems for the AUKUS program. You will ensure safe operation of electrical facilities on the Raynesway site and drive design assurance across nuclear and conventional facilities.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, UK experience in relevant facilities, familiarity with Euro Codes/BS Standards, and leadership

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (UK).
Experience designing, constructing and operating nuclear and conventional facilities and infrastructure in the UK.
Familiarity with Euro Codes, British Standards and relevant Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

Define Engineering standards, Quality Control and Quality Assurance for nuclear and conventional facility projects.
Incorporate client, Rolls‑Royce and regulatory requirements into design and modifications of facilities and infrastructure.
Provide design, modification and build assurance of Electrical Infrastructure engineering for new projects.
Set Electrical Asset Management Strategy/Plan and assure maintenance, testing and inspection of Electrical Assets.
Act as Responsible Person (Electrical) and Senior Authorised Person for High‑Voltage Switchgear (1kV–36kV).
