Job summary

A B Graphic International Ltd (ABG) in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineering, delivering accurate product definitions and timely technical outputs.

You will drive DFMA, cost reduction, and continuous improvement, coordinating WIS briefs, drawings, BOMs, and cross-functional inputs with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical and software engineering.
• Proven ability to define products with drawings, models and BOMs, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Commercially aware with ability to support Sales and customers on opportunities and quotations.
• Knowledge of DFMA, cost reduction through engineering change, and structured problem-solving.
• Familiarity with quality systems, CE marking and reducing non-conformances.
• Strong communication across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver accurate, on-time product definitions and technical outputs.
• Manage processes for WIS/job briefs, drawings, models and BOMs, and coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure documentation accuracy for new orders.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on cost, efficiency and 'right first time' performance through DFMA, engineering change and robust review processes.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable, aligned to capability and cost targets, and smoothly transferred into production, supporting quality and compliance across departments.
