Job summary

DoiT is seeking an Engineering Manager for Analytics House, a hands-on leader embedded with the team. You will balance shipping with coaching, writing and reviewing code, and guiding architectural decisions across cloud-native SaaS workloads.

You will drive delivery cadences, mentor engineers, and partner with product to align roadmaps with business objectives while fostering an AI-augmented, high-quality development culture. This role is remote across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 4+ years in engineering management.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• API-first mindset; products accessible via APIs and UI.
• Strong background in databases, SQL, query optimization, and BigQuery.
• Proven track record transforming engineering teams with measurable impact.
• Deep technical fluency and current coding ability in the team’s stack.
• Strong opinions on hiring, coaching, performance management, and decision-making.
• Direct, candid communication with sound judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, owning delivery and development.
• Drive continuous improvement and meaningful growth within the team.
• Develop engineers through regular 1:1s, growth plans, and reviews.
• Hire and coach, raising the management bench.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, GTM, and Customer Success.
• Balance hands-on work with leadership and roadmap planning.
