Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Delivery experience with customer-facing web applications.
• Comfortable in Agile environments with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience leading change across technology, process or ways of working.
• Hands-on experience with AI or ML tools within engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow and support inclusive engineering teams.
• Hire and onboard new team members with development plans.
• Shape technical strategy with Product and Architecture.
• Guide AWS-native and cloud-based platform delivery and evolution.
• Maintain high engineering standards across code quality, testing, CI/CD and observability.
• Balance feature delivery with technical debt, reliability, security and health.
• Remove blockers and risks to deliver predictably.
• Lead the practical use of AI to improve productivity and quality.
