Meta is seeking an Engineering Manager to own an ads quality area within Core Ads Quality, leading end-to-end efforts from signal development to auction integration. You will set the vision, collaborate with product, data science, and data engineering teams, and drive measurable impact on billions of people and advertisers.

Mansioni

• Own an ads quality area end to end, accountable for strategy, roadmap, execution, and outcomes across signal development, modeling, ranking and auction integration, experimentation, and production serving.
• Define the vision and technical strategy for the area, including quality-aware ranking and bidding and protections against low-quality ad experiences.
• Balance short-term revenue with long-term user and advertiser value through measurement and launch decisions.
• Engage with direction, system design, and code quality; stay current with ads ranking, auction design, causal inference, and ML.
• Partner with product, data science, data engineering, and integrity to translate problems into measurable outcomes.
• Build and evolve shared ads quality infrastructure for engineers to ship quality improvements safely and quickly.
• Identify and resolve execution risks, including revenue regressions, signal quality issues, and reliability incidents.
• Increase experimentation velocity and establish rigorous long-term measurement practices.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineers with deep expertise in ads systems; grow leaders.
• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence and AI-native working methods.
• Represent the area's work to senior leadership, communicating revenue and quality trade-offs clearly.
• Lead cross-site teams and drive alignment on long-term roadmaps.
