Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software engineering and large-scale production systems for ads delivery, ranking, or ML-driven platforms.
• Experience managing engineers and owning a broad technical area with strategy accountability.
• Experience driving roadmap decisions for large-scale ranking, auction, or ML systems.
• Experience with online experimentation and data-driven launch decisions balancing metrics.
• Experience partnering with product, data science, and other engineering groups to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience recruiting and developing engineering talent in ambiguous, high-impact areas.
• Hands-on background in ML model development and production ML systems (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience aligning with responsible, ethical AI practices and bias mitigation.
• Track record building shared infrastructure for reliability and developer productivity.
• Experience in ad quality signals within ranking and auction contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead an area within Core Ads Quality, setting vision and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product, data science, data engineering, and integrity teams to deliver measurable impact for billions of users and advertisers.
