Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement site maintenance strategy for all planned and preventative maintenance.
• Manage a team of 10 multi-skilled shift engineers across a 24/5 manufacturing operation.
• Oversee maintenance of production machinery, facilities, and site services.
• Provide technical leadership and strong man-management support.
• Train, coach, develop, and influence positive change within the engineering team.
• Drive health and safety initiatives, ensuring risk assessments, safe systems of work, and compliance are maintained.
• Manage engineering budgets and CAPEX projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Excellent man-management skills and qualities.
• Approachable leader who can influence positive change.
• Experience as a multi-skilled engineer with good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Open-minded and proactive attitude.
• Experience in manufacturing is beneficial.
• Technical engineering knowledge including PLCs, production machinery, automation, and drives.
• Experience with health and safety, PPMs, TPM, quality, KPI management, and budget control.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills from senior management to shopfloor level.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects is advantageous.
