Job summary

Stockport Nub News is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, delivery and support of enterprise SaaS applications, blending technical leadership with people management.

You will drive Agile delivery, CI/CD, secure, scalable solutions, mentor onshore and offshore teams, and collaborate with Product, Architecture and Infrastructure to realise the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, secure development, and operational excellence.

• Own technical design, software delivery, and platform evolution.

Working closely with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, QA, and Engineering teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive Agile delivery, and promote engineering excellence.
