I am looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who will have the chance to take genuine ownership of an engineering function and play a key role in shaping the future of a growing international engineering business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international engineering and manufacturing business and take responsibility for its engineering function, product development, and future technical direction.

This isn't simply a role where you'll inherit an established structure and keep things ticking over. You'll have the opportunity to shape it!

The opportunity

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering function spanning:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Controls & Software
• Product Development & R&D

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in developing engineering capability, improving processes and driving innovation.

The role is deliberately broad, giving you the opportunity to move between engineering strategy and technical detail from shaping future product development to getting hands-on with complex engineering challenges.

What I'm looking for

You will be an experienced engineering professional who has progressed into leadership and is ready to take ownership of an entire engineering function.

You’ll ideally come from a: Manufacturing, Machinery, Automation, Capital Equipment, Industrial Equipment or Engineered Products background.

Experience across machine design, industrial controls, PLCs, automation, HVAC, R&D, SolidWorks or design for manufacture would be highly advantageous.

I'm looking for someone who wants responsibility to influence and the opportunity to build something.
