Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Manager in Manchester, with hybrid work. You will lead a team of backend/data engineers, guide architectural decisions, and mentor a high-performing group responsible for migrating legacy SAP systems to cloud-ready platforms.

In this role, you will collaborate with Product and Architecture to shape roadmaps, ensure compliance (SOX/GDPR), and drive production systems' reliability while advocating cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of formal Engineering Management experience.
• 10+ years in Backend Software Development.
• Experience leading legacy-to-cloud migrations or major replatforming.
• Knowledge of AWS and regulated environments (SOX/GDPR) is a plus.

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Manchester (Campus-MR8) - Hybrid

The Role We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team migrating our legacy SAP EEC system to SAP S/4HANA (RISE with SAP). You will be accountable for people leadership, platform health, and high-stakes delivery outcomes.

While this isn't a day-to-day coding role, you'll need the technical credibility to guide architectural decisions and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
