Technical Maestro - Orchestrating Excellence in Facilities Services (HV/LV Senior Authorised Person)

Location: Embrace the vibrancy of Midlands, London, and beyond

Join us as a Technical Manager in our Facilities Services, where you will play a key role in ensuring compliance and excellence across static sites and mobile service delivery contracts in the Midlands, London, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Command the pivotal role of an HV/LV Senior Authorised Person, overseeing statutory compliance and supporting operational teams.
• Lead the technical compliance efforts, covering mechanical and electrical aspects of contract services, aiming to exceed compliance standards.
• Manage training and competency assessments for staff to ensure high-quality performance.

Additional Duties:

• Develop and maintain technical and regulatory standards for maintenance, implementing effective policies and procedures.
• Maintain registrations with OFTEC, Gas Safe, F Gas, NICEIC, etc., and keep records of competent persons.
• Navigate company procedures, guidance manuals, technical standards, and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with contractual and legislative requirements.
• Assist in planning, setup, mobilization, and operation of contracts and sites.
• Ensure contractual compliance through meticulous record-keeping.
• Communicate professionally with customers and staff through written correspondence.
• Participate in technical assessments of NGB personnel.
• Fulfill the role of Authorising Engineer for Electrical & Mechanical safe systems of work.

Requirements:

• Electrical qualifications, such as C&G Level 3, ideally with HNC Level 2 or higher.
• Experience as an HV SAP, with relevant training.
• Qualifications to become a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
• IEng status or equivalent.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (IET, CIBSE, etc.).
• Client-facing demeanor and team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of building services.
• Previous management experience.
• Knowledge of PPM systems.
