Job summary

Tiro Partners Limited is recruiting an experienced Engineering Manager in London to lead a large-scale engineering transformation within a major financial services environment.

You will drive Azure cloud infrastructure and AI initiatives, shape engineering strategy and delivery standards, and build high-performing teams across a complex enterprise.

This senior role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and a track record of delivering technology transformations at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading large teams (50+).
• Strong track record delivering technology transformations, ideally with Azure and AI.
• Experience operating in enterprise-scale financial services environments.

Location: London, 3 days onsite

Salary: Up to £200k base + bonus + excellent benefits

I’m working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a large scale engineering transformation within a major financial services environment.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has successfully delivered complex technology transformations involving Azure, AI or both, with the experience to lead at significant scale.

• Shape engineering strategy, technical direction and delivery standards, incorporating AI capabilities.

• Build high performing teams and lead engineering transformation across a complex enterprise environment.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading large teams of 50+ people.


• A strong track record of delivering significant technology transformation, ideally involving Azure and AI.


• Strong technical experience with Microsoft Azure and AI technologies.


• Familiarity with Microsoft AI Foundry and Azure AI services.


• Experience operating in complex, enterprise scale technology environments.


• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and strategic decision making skills.


• Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential. We’re particularly interested in an Engineering Manager who has delivered meaningful transformation in other complex, large scale environments, using Azure, AI or both.
