Job summary

Pioneer Selection in London is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the site's engineering team and oversee all mechanical maintenance across the heavy process plant. You will develop the PPM programme, supervise planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure safety, reliability and uptime.

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on technical ability, and experience budgeting, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

About the role

I'm working with a large-scale operational site looking to recruit a Engineering Manager to lead its engineering team and oversee all mechanical maintenance across the site. You'll manage planned and reactive maintenance across heavy process plant and equipment, supporting engineers with complex mechanical faults and ensuring the site remains safe, reliable and operational. You'll also develop the PPM programme, improve plant reliability and reduce breakdowns and downtime. The role will involve leading and developing the engineering team, coordinating contractors, managing engineering projects and supporting plant upgrades, installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
