Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance at our Watermill Road site. You will shape the maintenance strategy, drive continuous improvement, and partner with site leadership to ensure safety, quality and productivity.

You will develop and coach a high-performing engineering team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with audits and safety standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and engineering performance.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and asset reliability.
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to prioritise multiple projects and operational demands.
• Confidence leading, coaching and developing engineering teams.

As Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing site. Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, you'll lead the engineering function, shape maintenance strategy, and drive continuous improvement across equipment, people and processes.

Based on our Watermill Road site, you'll be the key engineering partner for operational teams, ensuring engineering excellence supports safety, quality and productivity objectives.
