Job summary

Redline Group Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Nottinghamshire to lead a multi-disciplinary team, delivering complex projects from concept to delivery on-site at a fast-paced engineering facility.

You will drive technical excellence, manage resources and budgets, and collaborate with production, sales and quality to meet demanding client requirements. A degree in engineering and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) with electronics preferred.
  • Experience in an engineering leadership role within a technical environment.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Altium, GitHub and Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Oversee engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to required quality.
  • Provide technical leadership and review designs and documentation for compliance and quality.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, quality and operations to ensure effective project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and engineering processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and manage departmental budgets for optimal resource allocation.
  • Act as a key technical contact for customers and stakeholders, supporting business development as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and internal procedures.

Our client, who are a well-established and innovative engineering manufacturer, are looking for an Engineering Manager based in Nottinghamshire to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is based on-site in, Nottinghamshire, within a fast-paced engineering environment delivering high-quality, customised products into a range of demanding industries. The position is a key leadership role, responsible for driving technical excellence, managing engineering operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and solutions.

Key responsibilities of the Engineering Manager job based in Nottinghamshire:

Experience required for the Engineering Manager job based in Nottinghamshire:
