Tilbury Douglas is seeking a proactive Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the Engineering Finance team. The role is based in Birmingham with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

You will deliver monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and CVR analysis to support business decisions across the UK engineering service line, while strengthening financial controls and driving process improvements.

Qualificações

• Experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (finalist or working towards).
• Experience in construction or project-based accounting advantageous; IFRS 15 knowledge and COINS experience are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management including overheads, WIP and accruals.
• Review project performance through CVR, identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Support governance, audits and continuous improvements in processes and tools.
