Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner for our Rogerstone site in Newport. You will join our Engineering team to plan, schedule, and drive equipment reliability within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain, you will create and manage maintenance plans that maximise uptime, support world-class manufacturing standards and deliver measurable improvements. This role offers progression and a competitive package.

Qualifications

Experience with maintenance planning in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
Strong organisational, IT and stakeholder management skills.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the site’s maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
Coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) plans through the CMMS system.
Align maintenance schedules with production plans to minimise downtime.
Lead weekly planning meetings and prioritise maintenance workloads.
Act as the key link between Engineering, Production and Planning teams.
Identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities before they impact performance.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Support contractor management and ensure compliance with site standards.

If you thrive on planning, scheduling and driving equipment reliability within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

What We’re Looking For

Engineering or maintenance background, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
Experience with maintenance planning, CMMS systems and preventative maintenance.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Strong organisational, IT and stakeholder management skills. Ability to understand production plans and coordinate engineering activities accordingly. Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and challenges existing ways of working.
