Brockenhurst College invites applications for a Lecturer in Engineering on a full-time, permanent basis. The post offers a competitive salary of £33,367 to £44,365 per annum, with an additional Targeted Retention Incentive of £4,000-£6,000 per year, subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Appropriate teacher training qualification (or working towards this).
• Level 1 and Level 2 teaching experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach on courses as agreed with Curriculum Leader to provide an inspirational experience for learner groups.
• Safeguard and provide pastoral support to keep students safe and drive outcomes.
• Prepare and mark student work with constructive feedback to drive progress.
• Track and monitor progress towards individual targets and provide progress reports as required.
